monte carlo or harrahs??

Hi, have harrahs booked. Monte carlo is 100 bucks cheaper for our duration. Can anyone recommend one over the other??

They are both good choices, it all depends on what you want in a stay,

Harrah%26#39;s more center of the strip, great vibe, good places to eat, clean rooms with comfy beds.

Monte Carlo, cheaper, low or quiet vibe in casino, not center on the strip, away from everything.

It all depends what%26#39;s important to you in a stay, since they are both good places to stay.

IMO, I would give the edge to Harrah%26#39;s, love the location, vibe, %26amp; food, nightlife, %26amp; especially the very comfy beds, friendly staff, great CW service for free drinks.

I haven%26#39;t stayed at Harrah%26#39;s so can%26#39;t compare the two side by side - but have stayed at MC several times and love it.

VERY comfy beds, great pool area if that%26#39;s important. I haven%26#39;t heard anything about Harrah%26#39;s pool. Friendly staff as well. We love that end of the strip, and to me it%26#39;s close to center strip - a quick walk to Bellagio, PH etc.

It does depend on what%26#39;s important to you in order to help you choose.

Save the $100. You will gain a much better pool in the process.

My response would be meaningless without knowing your age, who is traveling and when, and what your goals are for this trip.

i am married, going with hubby and another couple. mid 40%26#39;s, looking for minimum gambling, half-decent food, and things to see, lots of things to see!

I have stayed at both and like them both.

If pool is important stay at MC.

If location (in the middle of everything) is important choose Harrah%26#39;s.

You will find decent food pretty much anywhere on the strip.

I have stayed at Harrah%26#39;s several times and for me I like the location, which usually trumps the pool.

Harrahs is for chain smoking old ladies. MC is a much nicer property in my opinion. Harrahs has a slightly better location to center strip but not much. I would take MC for 100 bucks cheaper. Heck, I%26#39;d pay an additional 100 to change from Harrahs to MC. Both hotels put you in a decent area to see and do plenty but I think with MC you have the option of walking north to center strip or to the south end of the strip very easily. Harrahs pretty much sits almost as far north as you%26#39;d care to go.

I don%26#39;t think you would be unhappy with either property. Harrah%26#39;s has the better location, Monte Carlo has the better pool. If you%26#39;re already booked at harrah%26#39;s, I would probably stick with that. There will *always* be somewhere else you can go that%26#39;s cheaper.

Listen to Fred. Harrah%26#39;s is an old tired property.
