Headed to Vegas end of June through fourth of July, staying on the strip (MGM). How much is cab fare from MGM to Rio? Any cheaper ways to get from MGM to Rio (shuttle service)?

Go to Bally%26#39;s, take their free shuttle. You can take the monorail from MGM to Bally%26#39;s. I would call or look up shuttle times so you don%26#39;t miss your tourney!

There is a free shuttle to the Rio but not from MGM.

Do not take the monorail to Bally%26#39;s and then ride their shuttle. Why would you pay $9-$10 for a monorail pass when a cab to the Rio costs about the same? Cab is def your best bet!

Goldenkanes - Apparently, the possibility that the OP might be getting a monorail pass *anyway*, since staying at MGM, eluded you.

MickMan---Your best bet is to take the shuttle from Bally%26#39;s over to the Rio---we use it all the time when we are staying at Paris---its free! but if you like to walk to Bally%26#39;s from MGM, its not that far, we are in our 60%26#39;s and walk it all the time.

It may have eluded me Strat, but I%26#39;m a point A to point B guy. I stayed @ MGM in 06 when I played and everytime I took a cab. Usually there were many others doing the same so we would just group up.
