Sunday Breakfast Buffets?

I have a couple of questions about the Sunday breakfast buffets please. We have been to Vegas at least 6 times so far and have never gone we are going for my Mom%26#39;s birthday in August and I am just wondering?

What makes them different from the Mon-Sat breakfast buffets besides there is Champagne served?

For the price you pay which one do you like the best and why?

Do you have to make reservations for any or is it just stand in the cattle call style of line?

I am just trying to see if they are really worth the price for what you get.

Cheers,

Sunday Breakfast Buffets?

The only one I have been to is Harrah%26#39;s. Main difference was seafood, prime rib, basic lunch food. Basically everything you would find on the weekday lunch buffet plus breakfast buffet will be on the Sunday brunch buffet. It was 10/06, and as I recall it was about 50 for 2 people with tax. We thought it was an excellent brunch and certainly worth 50 bones.

Sunday Breakfast Buffets?

For Sunday buffets I have 5 recommendations depending on what you like and budget.

The best buffet is Sterling Brunch at the Bally%26#39;s Steakhouse. Excellent all around quality with sushi made to order, tenderloin, lobster and the best quality champagne. Service is excellent. If you have to have prime rib instead of the tenderloin, cross it off your list though.

The Steakhouse at Circus Circus. Although Circus is a dump and their regular buffet is horrendous, their Steakhouse Sunday buffet is like an oasis of calm and adult voices in a sea of clamoring children who can annoy a doorknob to tears. Their meats are really good and this is the best bang for the buck.

Wynn has a good breakfast buffet during the week and during the weekend is even better. Its variety is the best of these five with plenty of items that would be the stars of lesser buffet%26#39;s lunch or dinner.

Verandah at Four Seasons has a great weekend buffet. It is definitely more breakfast oriented than the Wynn but you would be surprised at how good their food is especially their hash. It is the best I have ever had.

Zefferino%26#39;s at Venetian is a nice buffet with service at similar levels to the Sterling Brunch. Their food quality is very good but not the variety of Wynn and not quite the quality of Sterling.

At $55 it is $20 cheaper than Sterling and $20 more than Wynn and I would definitely either step up for quality or step down and get more variety. I would go there if I%26#39;m staying at Palazzo or Venetian, however.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I will defintly look into the Wynn buffet for breakfast, their dinner buffet was excellent. I guess I just have a hard time paying a higher price for breakfast when it is just your basic breakfast items and some lunch items.

Is there a certain item on any of these buffets that sets them apart and that is why you choose that particular buffet?

Cheers,

Does anyone have any recent reviews of the Sunday Champagne Brunch at Bellagio?

Just back and had Sunday bruch at Bally%26#39;s Sterling Brunch.

First, it is the most expensive of all @ $75 per head....however

Perrier Jouet champagne flowed for the four hours we camped out there

The caviar was delicious as was the lobster, sushi, assortment of smoked fish and cheese, the lamb, filet migon, crab legs and claws, exotic fruit salad, the range of cooked breakfast items, omelettes made to order....the list was endless

Just when you think you have had enough....you will be tempted with the most delightful desserts

I took the adivce of many here and reserved a table and it was one of the highlights of our holiday.

I wish I was there.......go and make a full morning/afternoon of it.

It is pricey compared to some but it did not disappoint

Thank you very much for telling of some of the items on the Buffet that makes it so special. That makes more sense as to the cost.

Cheers!

I ate Subday brunch at Planet Hollywoods buffet and it was great make sure you add 3.00 to price for unlimited champange and make sure you go to the waffle station, they will make you a fresh cooked to order PH waffle.
