Where to stay(going solo)

I%26#39;m finally doing what I%26#39;ve always wanted to do. Go to Vegas by myself. I go at least 2 times a year but with somwone else, friends, girlfriend, fam, etc. Now I can do what I want when I want! I can gamble all day without being bothered if I so choose!

I%26#39;ve stayed at the MGM and at the Wynn. I%26#39;ve been checking out Caesar%26#39;s and the Venetian. Part of my research includes poker rooms since that%26#39;s what I enjoy most. Any recommendations for this solo traveler?

Where to stay(going solo)

I can%26#39;t help you with poker rooms, but of course you don%26#39;t have to play where you stay - poker comps generally suck anyway. For me, when I travel by myself, I don%26#39;t need a fancy room or fancy dinners, and I%26#39;m not inclined to go to nightclubs. I try to find a good bargain and save money for important stuff like gambling :)

If you liked MGM, you can usually get a good rate there using their promo codes.

Where to stay(going solo)

The wife and I stay at Wynn. Because WE would use the pool, spa (her) and dine at the restaurants. But I wouldn%26#39;t do any of that stuff.

All I need is clean, quiet, and a TV in case I want to watch sports or the news. So I might stay at Gold Coast and save money.

You might want to consider Mirage. We think the rooms are a little small, but they%26#39;re perfect for one. They have a nice poker room, and within walking distance of Wynn %26amp; Venetian that also have nice poker rooms. In addition to this, because of the renovations they have some great rates right now.

I do want to spoil myself. I%26#39;m returning from Iraq and want to relax in luxury. I want large LCD screens, nice bathrooms, king bed with luxrious linens. I was mostly looking at suites and junor suites/deluxe rooms in the hotels that I mentioned. Is the Venetian to fancy for a single?

Thank you for your service to our country. Have you looked at Palazzo? Their rooms are all new and would be most likely to have the flat screen TVs.

I see nothign wrong with spoiling yourself with a luxurious room if that%26#39;s how you want to roll. Clearly you%26#39;ve earned it.

Good for you, you deserve it. Thank you, as Stratton said. The Venetian is real nice, but CP has Qua Spa, which you deserve. Also CP has great location. Can%26#39;t go wrong with either. Relax %26amp; good luck at the tables.

There%26#39;s nothing wrong with Venetian, although it attracts a few too many families for my taste, it just seems the room a little big for one.

How about Bellagio? You could have a regular room in the spa tower there that would provide luxury. And Bellagio has one of the better poker rooms.

You certainly do deserve a few days of luxury! Thank you for all you do for us and our country!

If it were me and I wanted sheer luxury, I%26#39;d say Wynn, Palazzo or Bellagio. If you are interested in Caesar%26#39;s it%26#39;d have to be in either their Palace or Augustus Tower rooms. However, I don%26#39;t think Caesars as a whole offers as nice of amenities as the others listed. You can still make appts and use the Qua Spa there without being a guest in their hotel. It%26#39;s right across the street from Bellagio. Location wise, Bellagio and Caesar%26#39;s are both right in the center of the strip so in that category, they win hands down. Wynn though is absolutely beautiful and very luxurious and Palazzo being brand new would also fit your needs well.

Whatever hotel you choose, enjoy!!!

On the strip, I would recommend Caesar%26#39;s. Have a wonderful time!

what%26#39;s the difference between the palazzo and venetian? Is it a property in a property? From what I see online, the prices are pretty much the same.

The new rooms at Caesars look nice. marble bathrooms, dual rain showerheads, LCD in bedroom and bathroom.

With the offer from the Wynn the price for a resort room and the the price for a king suite at the venetian is not to much difference. I have stayed at the Wynn and loved it. Should I just go with what I know?
