This is the first time in many years that my husband and I are heading to LV- I try and visit annually with my girlfriends and we always have a blast. My husband is not into gambling so I%26#39;ve booked a number of shows for our visit. I need help with restaurant choices prior to a couple of shows and would really appreciate your input as we are leaving tomorrow!!!! The restaurants need to have good-great food, atmosphere and service. I enjoy fine dining my husband humours me by going! Price really isn%26#39;t a factor -timing will be because of the shows!
Friday:Olives at 5pm, Rita Rudner at 8;30 pm
Sat: Spamalot (Wynn) at 10 pm ???Where for dinner????
Sun: Rosemary%26#39;s for dinner
Monday: Love (Mirage) at 10pm ???Where for dinner???
THX!!!!
Arriving on 26th - help with dinner suggestions pleeeeease!
Re: before Spamalot - I%26#39;ve never eaten at the Wynn, but there are some good restaurants across the street at the Fashion Show Mall - Maggiano%26#39;s (eyetalian), Capital Grille (steak) and Cafe Ba ba reeba (tapas) were some good ones. We ate at Capital Grille and walked over to Spamalot.
Re: Mirage - we ate at the Italian one before Love (Onda rest and wine lounge) and thought the food stunk, and it was generally a rip off. :(

Thanks Heiho.
Still looking for restaurant suggestions at Mirage and Wynn. ??? Help pls. :))
We enjoyed Terrace Pointe Cafe at Wynn before Spamalot. Wide and varied menu, decent prices, casual atmosphere, great views of the pool area. Service was spotty, but fine.
At Mirage I%26#39;d go with Stack or Samba.
At Wynn, SW Steakhouse is one of my favorites. The Country Club is supposed to be excellent too, but I never get past SW when I want steak. Okada is a really cool Japanese place with sushi and tepanyaki in a wonderful setting. Wing Lei is probably the best (and most expensive!) chinese cuisine I have ever had outside of Shanghai.
As far as Mirage, I don%26#39;t have nay positive suggestions- just a negative one: Avoid the brazilian steakhouse at all costs. I don%26#39;t know any restaurant that gets more universally bad reviews.
Thanks for the suggestions and advice. I%26#39;m thinking SW Steak at Wynns and dinner at Caesar%26#39;s Palace pre-show on Monday since there doesn%26#39;t seem to be much to recommend at the Mirage. We%26#39;re staying at CP that night and a dinner there would work just fine. Any recommendations for a restaurant in CP?
For the CP- there is a ton of restaurants in the shops- Wolfgang Puck has a chinese fusion restaurant there. And there are lots of other fancy restaurants there too...
Venetian/Palazzo (not very far from Wynn) in their Grand Canal Shoppes have some highly regarded restaurants there too.
I saw LOVE before- and it%26#39;s a good show! You%26#39;ll like it- but it goes by so quickly!!! I ate at Harrahs Flavors buffet before the show (at 10), and it was good. If you want to, you can try buffets if you want.
Anyways- you will find a good restaurant near you...so no big worries. But do make a reservation for eating at Wynn. Always big long waits :(.
Hope this helps and have a great trip!
For Wynn I would suggest a couple
The Country Club gorgeous view of the fairway %26amp; 18th hole with the waterfall in the background, excellent steaks.
SW Steakhouse, excellent steaks, seafood, %26amp; poultry %26amp; superior service, An expansive wall of glass windows open onto the patio overlooking Lake Of Dreams it is spectacular.
Corsa Cucina for excellent Italian Food %26amp; superior service.
You can check the menu out on WYNN website, to see if that is what you are looking for in a meal, these are only IMO, not sure what you like so I am giving my choice, so maybe the website can help you out
www.wynnlasvegas.com
click on dining %26amp; then restaurant on the bottom %26amp; then menu, you can get an idea for price %26amp; what they have to offer.
Mirage there are not good choices in where to eat. Caesars is right next door, so you might want to consider eating at Caesars %26amp; then walking over to Mirage. Some great choices at Caesars is
Nero%26#39;s excellent steaks, seafood, %26amp; superior service %26amp; very romantic dinner
Rao%26#39;s excellent Italian Food which is authentic %26amp; the service can only be rated superior.
Joe%26#39;s Seafood, Prime Steak %26amp; Stone Crab excellent food %26amp; service.
Mesa Grill at Caesars has excellent food with a Southwest Flavor that has tremendous flavors very
unique foods.
Empress Court at Caesars authentic Chinese gourmet food with elegant dining %26amp; superior service.
808 at Caesars a taste of Hawaii with exquisite Euro-Pacific cuisine a fusion signature of great flavors with superior service.
You can check out the ones at Caesars on Harrah%26#39;s website for menus.
www.harrahs.com
click on LV, then Hotel (Caesars) then Dining, then restaurant then menu. I hope this helps you out a little for your choices in where to eat.
Have a great time in Vegas with hubby.
Caesar%26#39;s - Mesa Grill (if you can get reservations at this point)
Venetian - Enoteca San Marco or B%26amp;B (both Batali) and close enough to Wynn to make it to a 10PM show.
