Hello people.
There are 8 of us heading over to Las Vegas for 5 nights in October, we are fairly keen to stay at the Bellagio, but the rates are fairly high.
Any suggestions where to get the best rate?
Or anyone know any promotions?
Thanks in adavance
Bellagio - Booking for October 2008
Most promotions don%26#39;t get posted up until 6 weeks-2-3 months before the dates you want to travel so way too early for that. Also, October is a very busy month in Vegas, loads of conventions. Las Vegas hotel rates fluctuate greatly, can do so day to day and even hour by hour. Cheapest days to be there are Sun through Thurs evenings, most expensive Fri-Sat night stays when rates can be 3-4 x what the week day rates are.
The rates are most likely on the hight side right now because the time you want to be there is so far away. Also, if you went to their website and put in any weekend dates in, that could drive the rate for the entire stay up for you.
Check the hotel website frequently to see if they have any specials posted, also check www.smartervegas.com and www.fatwallet.com for specials/promos. There won%26#39;t be any out yet, though.
When you do book, do so directly with the hotel and then keep checking for better rates after you have booked. If you find a better rate, contact the hotel and tell them the promo code or whatever the special is and ask to have a rate reduction to get your room rate at this new lower rate and they will do the adjustment for you.
