We are visiting Vegas for 4 nights in May and I want to book a meal for our wedding anniversary - been reading the forum and checking other websites, thinking of Spagos - but does it live up to the hype. Also taking an 11yr old - are they child-friendly. Any other recommendations would be appreciated - not chinese/japanese. Also the night we want to go would be the Saturday of Memorial weekend - is it best to book?
Spagos - worth visiting?
There are two sections, the cafe in the front and the more formal restaurant in the back. Worth the trip, but would take kids to cafe section.

really none of the finer dining establishments are child friendly. I have taken my kids to Spago while in Vegas and we all enjoyed dinner in the main dining roo, I have an 11 yo and 8yo and they ordered off the regular menu (they are foodies in training). The food is good but nothing that was a wow factor to me. I have been to Spagos in CA and it is not the same dining atmosphere.
Book as early as they will let you.
We ate in the cafe part on the evening of our wedding ~ there was only 4 of us and we didn%26#39;t want anywhere too fancy ~ I loved it and will definately go back in July ~ the food was excellent and really good value too, the service was also very good.
I would thoroughly recommend
No matter where you decide to eat, book as soon as possible. It%26#39;s a Sat night and a holiday weekend when you will be there, if you don%26#39;t book soon you might not get a reservation at one of the nicer restaurants.
