September - Good time to visit from the UK?.

Would be our first time in Vegas, would only be staying for about 5 nights. Looking at the airfares, some of them are 拢1500.00 return - is there anything big on in Vegas at this time?. Was looking to spend about 拢700.00 each.

September its still very warm during the day and warm at night. If there is any kind of big convention in town everything is more expensive than when there isn%26#39;t one. I think this web site lists conventions: www.vegas.com Also cheaper during the week than weekends.

I got flights in sept for 拢1200. Continental airlines were the cheapest followed by KLM

We will be going in september this year also, The room rates for all the major hotels are very reasonable for our dates, 拢80-拢110 per night gets you a room in any of the major hotels. Flights are currently running at about 拢600 return from London with virgin (direct) and similar for BMI/United from Manchester. We are flying into san fransisco or Sacramento and flying home from vegas.

Luggageinhand - how warm is very warm? I%26#39;m also thinking of Vegas in September. Although we love the heat I need to be able to a) walk around comfortably during the day,

and b) sit round the hotel pool comfortably!! How different would the weather be between say mid September compared to early October? And any idea what temperature?

September is great weather for Vegas.

Visit right after our Labor Day holiday, which this year is Sept 1st, for good room prices.

Most kids have gone back to school.

This will be my 3rd time to vegas in sept. Iv booked from the 6th - 13th and flying direct with Virgin from gatwick. The fligths are still 拢600 for these dates but you are right about some of the others being 拢1500. 4 of us (all blokes) staying at The Carriage House which cost us 拢150 for the week. So it works out less than 拢640 a head for a whole week....Bargain.......cant wait :)

September weather was fantastic. It was unseasonably cool when we visited last September but it was still hot and we were able to walk the strip most days so saved money.

I get the feeling we wont be walking as much when we visit in June.

In September you could easily find temps still in the 90%26#39;s. I love going during that month. Kids are gone and prices are reasonable, esp during Labor Day week (first Monday of the month).
