The Roulette with one 0 is called English roulette, 00 is American roulette. The only place I know with english roulette is in canada.

Actually, there are single zero wheels around and the minimums vary depending on day and time of day.

If it helps anyone out here, with the exception of one bet (0,00,1,2,3) caled a bucket bet the house edge on any standard american 00 wheel is 5.26%

if you can find a european wheel (single 0) this edge is cut in half... 2.6 %

if you can find a european wheel with the en prison rule the edge again is cut in half... 1.3%

This explains why roulette is widely played thruout europe but is a mug%26#39;s game in north america.

The last time that we went to Vegas was in January and the Stratosphere had one table and the minimum was 10 dollars (I%26#39;ve seen it at 5 dollars one time during the week).......my husband and I will be in Vegas on Sunday.....I will check for you.

The Monte Carlo is suppose to have one but I%26#39;m not sure about the limit.

The Bellagio has at least one but it is in the high limit area.

This was at the Wynn, i spoke to the roulette operator/dealer about it and he said the high roller rooms usually had single 0 roulette. This makes sense. People in the high roller rooms can afford to gamble anywhere in the world so the rules in the high roller rooms have to be competitive world wide otherwise these high rollers will just goto other countries
