Hi,
We are coming to Vegas 29 April for two weeks and staying at Hooters on Tropicana Ave. My Question is are they Convenience stores in the area which sell fresh food, salads, fruit, Beers, etc We don%26#39;t intend trawling the strip every meal time looking for two for one and cheapest lunch/dinner, a home made salad would fill the hole at times. We want to do many shows and this is the time we would like that special dinner before the show.
Of now to do our last Holiday shopping at Meadow Hall shopping Mall

Convenience Stores
A typical convenience store here in the US such as 7-11, circle K is not a good place for fresh food, salads, fruit. They sell mostly junk food, beer, sodas, cigarettes, coffee, refrigerated sandwich etc.
Your better bet is at a supermarket which the closest one to Hooters on Trop is Vons (Tropicana/Maryland Parkway), a short 5 minutes or so drive.
Convenience Stores
IV is correct.
Von%26#39;s will also have most of the things a convenience will have but at a much better price.
For the beer, soda and junk food, but not salad, there are a couple of convenience stores that are nearby. There is a Circle K (I think) on the north side of Tropicana and there is a mini-market at the Motel 6. But Vons is a much better choice.
Vons is a grocery store, with a full liquor license. So they sell beer, wine and hard liquor.
Von%26#39;s is walkable, but a bit far. You can jump on the bus and it will get you there in just a few minutes -- I think there are only 3 stops betweem Hooters and Maryland Pkwy. No transfers, just a straight shot.
Thanks Guys for your help all sorted now, 5 days to go.
Cheers
