which factory outlet is good and easier to access?

hi,

we will be coming to vegas in may and will be staying at Imperial Palace hotel on the strip.

would like to visit one of the factory outlets for some shopping, as we do not have public transport, would anyone recommend which is the best factory outlet to go using public transport from the strip?

how to go by bus/shuttle?

and if take cab, how much approximately is the trip by cab?

thanks!

There%26#39;s one to the south of the strip at Warm Springs and another to the north of the strip downtown.

From IP you%26#39;re probably about the same distance from each. A cab would be your best bet I think, probably around $15 dollars whichever one you visit.

The shopping mall at Las Vegas Blvd.S. %26amp; Warm Springs is called Las Vegas Outlet Mall (it used to be called the Belz Mall) and is serviced by the CAT bus service. It%26#39;s about 5 miles S. of Tropicana.

A bit S. of the mall on the same side is the Bootlegger Bistro and kitty-corner from the mall is the Boot Barn that sells, not only boots, Resistol

hats, Wrangler jeans, western cut shirts and other cowboy doo-dads.

what about Las Vegas Premium Outlets?

how do i get there and are there lots of stuff there?

here%26#39;s the site for the Premium Outlet

www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp鈥?/a>

since it%26#39;s about the same distance for each - compare the stores in each and decide from there.

thanks!

is it possible to get to the premium outlets by bus/shuttle from strip?

Click on previous post instructions and it will give you bus route . You catch it from downtown bus station and it stops right outside entrance to Outlet

thanks.

may i know approximately how long does it take to get to the premium outlets from strip area?

thanks.

Its not too far but yu have to get off at dennys then get the another bus around the corner from here, you can wait ages on that one and its usually crowed on weekends or peak times, from that busits on 10 min very quick and easy I love that outlet mall.

I went to all the factory outlets and I thought the Las Vegas Outlet mall south out of the strip was the best....I got there using the Deuce bus..it doesnt take very long...got the Deuce from just outside the Tropicana and it took you straight there...ahd to change bus coming back but very straight forward..

The Deuce bus ticket is $2 for single ride or $5 for 24 hour pass...well worth $5...

I got lots of bargains, but I live in the uk.. I dont know where you are from, so dont know if they will be bargains for you...

Lots of designer shopping on the strip though..

If you bought Duece pass then you could use it to go to Downtown bus station and there get a bus to Outlet. Spend morning there( enough time as it isn%26#39;t too huge) Then return to Downtown and go South on strip to the other Outlet just past airport . You would have to buy ticket for return to and from Downtown to Northern Outlet but then your pass should cover the rest of your journey. I think also that the Southern outlet on Warm Springs is the better of the two.Depends on your taste in clothing. Northern one has more modern designer outlets and so if you are young then I think you would like that. Depending on what time of year you are visiting. Look in paper to see if any of big stores have sales and then you could get even better bargains. Big Mall on Maryland. Go EAST on any of the busses crossing strip and you should get there.Ask for Maryland Mall. From Wynn up as far as front of Bally. The one from Wynn would be best as it takes you right through the mall entrance. The other mall is opposite SUNSET STATION so if you have access to a free STATION shuttle then that is another oportunity .Just cross over road. Also huge Walmart next to Sunset Station. If you want Elecrical :: computer etc. then go to Fry%26#39;s Electrical which is just beyond the Airport on the side that you would get off the bus. The strip bus passes it . Bargains there are best I have ever seen .
