Caesar's Augustus Tower or Palazzo

Such a quandry! We are going to Vegas for my birthday in a few weeks, and we are fortunate enough to have comped rooms reserved for the Augustus Tower at Caesar%26#39;s. Yesterday, I got an invitation for three nights at the Palazzo and a birthday gift with $50 comp. I am dying to try the Palazzo, so I called and booked.

Keep in mind that these are all comps...which one would you choose for three nights. Have stayed at Augustus before (loved it) and Venetian (renovated room...loved that too!).

Hubby does not like to move all over. We have never had much luck with slots at Caesars, but the place is great.

Your thoughts????

Like you, I am interested in trying Palazzo. But if the comparison is a standard room at Palazzo versus Augustus Tower at Caesar%26#39;s, that%26#39;s a no-brainer win for Caesar%26#39;s.

As much as we love staying at Palazzo, gotta agree with Stratton on this one too. Palazzo is beautiful, service was excellent, and the pools more quiet and relaxing. But Augustus rooms are just as beautiful and you have enjoyed it before. The rooms at Palazzo are pretty much exactly the same as venetian, so that might help ya with the layout and design. You might notice a lil difference in the size of the room, but not too much. But if you want to be a little more center strip, then Ceasars wins out.

I%26#39;d book both, try and get the hubby to agree to one night at palazzo. Since it%26#39;s comp%26#39;d, why not try it. We%26#39;ve had two rooms before, kinda fun to stay in one if your%26#39;e out and too tired to go back to your hotel, lol.

either way, you can%26#39;t go wrong.

Thanks Stratton and Spinguy.....exactly what I had in mind! Will keep room at Caesar%26#39;s AG until I see what Palazzo has to offer. Perhaps, could send DH to Palazzo if he misbehaves!!!! LOL!!!

I vote for.........both!

Would it be possible to extend your 3 nite stay to 5 or 6 nites? Its your birthday.....don%26#39;t you deserve it? =D

I%26#39;d split up the trip, both nice properties.

we had suite 4076 in A.Tower at Ceasars

perfect view of the Bellagio Fountains

we pushed our couch up to the floor/ceilings to watch at night

Thanks! Forgot to mention that we are spending 3 additional comped nights at TI in a suite with a whole bunch of freeplay and food comps! This is a weeklong trip already. Think I will keep both AG at Caesars and Palazzo...in addition to TI (I know but...I can%26#39;t give up[ the freeplay and food comped)
