Hi
You may find this map usfull

There are some free monorails that connect hotels as in Mandalay bay to Excal, but the new monorail costs $$ as does the duece, I think $2 a trip.

There is a free tram that connects Excalibur with Mandalay Bay and then on the return trip stops at the Luxor and then Excalibur. There is also a moving walkway (that isn%26#39;t always working). There is a free tram that connects TI with the Mirage.
You can take the Duece up and down the strip and to downtown. It is cheap but it can be very very slow and crowded.

There is a monorail that connects some of the hotels on the east side of the strip, Convention Center and the Hilton. Many of the stations are set way back so it may be a hike from the strip to a station and then back to the strip after you leave the monorail station.

Some of the off strip hotels have shuttles to the strip and back- Sam%26#39;s Town, Rio,Gold Coast, Orleans, GVR, etc. You can check their websites for schedules.
Cabs are plentiful and many people prefer them to public transporation. You also have limos available. Or you can just rent a car.
