I live in Boulder City and due to a flood Hubby is remodling part of the house and sending me on a mini vacation. I won%26#39;t be driving, (he%26#39;s taking the car back with him) and need to make my money stretch as far as I can. Its also my B-day gift, but like I said we%26#39;re on a budget.

I have a COMP room at Harrahs, only had to pay for 2 days. I%26#39;ve been reading alot on here, ya%26#39;ll crack me up LOL If you think of any other tips I%26#39;d be very grateful to hear um. I%26#39;m coming in April 30th and leave the 8th of May. So here comes the grill session ...LOL...

1) Harrah%26#39;s buffet prices ?

2) Did Harrah%26#39;s stop the shuttle service ? If so hows the bus system run there and how much does it cost ? I have Arthritis, can hoof it if I have to but prefer not.

3) Best Cheapest buffets ?

4) Comedy Shows anywhere cheap ?

5) Good karaoke anywhere ?

6) Any free play offers for signing up for slot clubs ?

7) Any great late night deals or buffets ? I%26#39;m a total night owl.

8) How safe is it to walk alone at night ?

9) I saw Harrahs jewel jackpots, we have something like that here too..are the tables there 2-4 3-6 ?

10) Which casino has the loosest slots ? I used to play at Flamingo but that was years ago and I know its changed.

11) Any 2 4 1 coupons I find, can I use them for 50% off since it%26#39;ll just be me ?

12) Is the adult pool at Harrahs heated ?

harrahs brunch daily 730 to 2 is 11.99....great food.dinner4-9 is 14.99. like avi lunch is7.99 and pioneerlunch 6.95 from noon till 4. 8.95 supper from 4 on. edgewater and colorado belle have cheap buffets that might be ok but as of late have been going downhill fast. Very safe to walk at night as you are on the main street. river palms has the only late night buffet. Riverside bars got good karaaoke like losers lounge. AT riverside they have a comedy club dont know prices....sometimes a decent comic. Harrahs quit the shuttle. Heck i have rhumatoid arthritis. If i can walk it anyone can. Just take your time and bring a hat and bottle of water. Good luck on slots......as of late iam in the throngs of a 4 week loosing streak so not matter where i have been playing i have been tapping out...i will now go back to sports and horses for a while.

Thanks that all helps alot ! I was afriad Harrahs was over 20 for dinner..14 is fine. and I also have rheumatoid arthritis, good to hear it shouldn%26#39;t be hard to walk. I might avoid the slots all together and just play poker..even if I take my poker winnings and just gamble those on slots it won%26#39;t be my money LOL.

If you have R.A. and have any problems walking due to this, I would not choose Harrahs if you plan on walking between the casinos. It is fairly steeply uphill and a few hundred yards from the next casino.

walk down the hill and take the bus back. they run every half hour. I dont for the life of me know why they quit running that shuttle.Supposed to be a first class place....not a very classy thing to do.

Well unfortunately I need to be gone from my house for 15 days, I have COMPS at Trop in Vegas for 7 and Harrahs gave me 6 of 8 days free. I couldn%26#39;t afford anything else or I%26#39;d have no money for fun and food lol. So Harrahs it must be.

Besides the nugget it is still the nicest place to stay on the river. You will be ok.
