UK people- passport expiry time

I am due to fly to vegas middle of sep my passport expires April 09 is this still ok or will I have to renew soon,I cant find any numbers to ring and ask someone.

You can actually enter the states with a passport with less than 6 months but is un advisable as you will have issues at immigration!

Just to be on the safe side, I%26#39;d renew it now if I were you then you won%26#39;t be worrying about it. The extra months will be added to your new passport so you won%26#39;t lose out for renewing it early.

Why not renew your passport now. You can do this within 10 months of expiry date, they will add on the extra time, eg 10 years 10 mths.You will also now get the biometric passport.
